Concerning the plan for the construction of a coal-fired power plant in Kurihama in Yokosuka city, local residents have initiated the Yokosuka coal-fired power plant administrative lawsuit. The lawsuit was filed on May 27th, and October 2nd marked the first court date. In order to once again explain the content of this trial as well as outline the claims of the plaintiffs, the government’s responses, and future points of issue, we are organizing a seminar in Yokosuka on November 30th.
